Pamela Oei is an actress who has worked in theatre, television and film. She’s a Dim Sum Dolly, the lead singer of funk rock band “Ugly in the Morning” and recently seen spewing Hokkien Vulgarities in Ken Kwek’s film “Unlucky Plaza”.

TSL #6.1: STEPHANIE CHAN

Stephanie Chan is a spoken word poet who has performed in 10 different countries, from the Glastonbury Festival to the Edinburgh Fringe to various German night clubs. She is currently a member of the all-female spoken word troupe the Sekaliwags and hosts the Singapore Story Slam. She is thinking of becoming a feminist stand up comedian when she grows up.

Stephanie also once lived as a squatter and here’s her story about fitting in.
